An initiative to strengthen neurological, psychiatric, and psychosomatic care

Assignment:

Execution of a health policy campaign calling on decision-makers to optimize neurological, psychiatric, and psychosomatic care in Germany.

Challenge/GOAL:

Development and coordination of the campaign’s content and organizational implementation, with a strong focus on advocating for faster access to specialist care to sustainably relieve the healthcare system.

Implementation / Outcome:

The #kopfsache campaign was launched via the website of the Spitzenverband ZNS as a direct appeal to policymakers and healthcare stakeholders. In collaboration with medical specialists, solution-oriented approaches were developed and presented across key areas: patient care, society, resources, costs, and potential.
In their “tracer diagnoses,” medical experts describe clinical conditions, diagnostic procedures, and required measures necessary to improve patient care within their specialty.
To generate public attention and spread the campaign’s message, a digital press conference was held with SPiZ representatives to address the key question:
“What value does society place on mental and brain health across all age groups?”
A press media center provides downloadable materials, including key documents and visual assets, for journalists and media outlets.
