Assignment:

Production of a book on the 100-year company history of Baugenossenschaft Dormagen eG.

Challenge / Goal:

Production and project management of a print publication that tells the cooperative’s 100-year history while also providing an outlook on the future of BGD.

Implementation / Outcome:

The book “100 Jahre Baugenossenschaft Dormagen eG – 1926–2026” was created in collaboration with the author Dr. Holger Martens of Historiker-Genossenschaft eG.

The book recounts the company’s history chronologically, from the founding of the cooperative in 1926 to the anniversary year 2026. The chapters present the cooperative’s events and activities, organized by decade. Historical photographs, postcard images, and diagrams take readers on a journey through the eventful history of the housing cooperative. The book also introduces key figures in the cooperative’s development and looks back on past milestones and celebrations. Current projects and future areas of focus are also presented in the anniversary book. A total of 1,000 printed copies were produced. The book is available for purchase and was unveiled at the anniversary celebration in September 2026.
