Presentation of the CUBITY Atelier House
A new facility dedicated to researching structural transformation in the Rhenish region
Assignment:
Launch of a website presenting the CUBITY Atelier House as a forward-looking hub for education, teaching, and research, while providing information on current projects and developments in the Rhenish region.
Challenge / Goal:
Concept development for a website showcasing CUBITY as an innovative building for students and researchers, highlighting its distinctive architecture designed to foster new ideas. In addition, the website emphasizes CUBITY’s significance as a key location for projects in the Rhenish region.
Implementation / Outcome:
Development of a website that visually reflects its affiliation with the Britta and Ulrich Findeisen Foundation for Art and Architectural Culture while remaining recognizable as an independent site. In addition to blog articles covering current projects and news, the sustainable construction history of CUBITY is presented through a timeline. The “Visitor Information” section provides helpful details about the facilities and house rules. A calendar on the website features announcements for upcoming events at the CUBITY Atelier House. The Knowledge Blog serves as a knowledge base, offering detailed information about projects, platforms, organizations, and people associated with CUBITY. Visitors can calculate the CO₂ footprint of their journey to CUBITY using the CO₂ calculator and, if desired, compensate for it through a donation to a tree-planting project. The website is available in both German and English.
Creation of the CUBITY Atelier House website, including concept development, implementation, search engine optimization (SEO), and responsive web design.

The Britta and Ulrich Findeisen Foundation for Art and Architecture has been committed since its establishment in July 2007 to supporting education, monument preservation, art, and architecture. The foundation’s activities are not geographically restricted. However, in order to increase the effectiveness of its resources and due to the local ties of its founders, the foundation focuses on its own projects as well as third-party initiatives in line with its statutory purpose, with a particular emphasis on implementation in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) or on projects that benefit people and institutions in NRW.
